Where The Mountains Meet The Sea...

I remember my first trip to Acadia National Park in Maine, and simply put it took my breath away. I told a few of my girlfriends back home in the Hudson Valley about this incredible place, and wouldn't you know it they both wound up moving here too. Inspired by my experience of Mount Desert Island, Maine where we truly have mountains that meet the sea as well as the first point of sunrise in the US, this painting is both heartwarming and magical.
